Privacy Policy

MXLedger is designed with privacy in mind. Your data stays on your device and, optionally, in your own Google Drive account. We do not collect, store, or sell your personal data on any server we control.

1. Who We Are

2. What Data the App Handles

MXLedger stores the following data locally on your device:

Logbook entries (work orders, aircraft registrations, dates, descriptions)
Personal documents (names, expiry dates, file attachments)
User profile (name, licence number)
App settings and preferences

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable Google Drive sync.

3. Google Drive Sync (Optional)

If you choose to enable Google Drive sync, your data is backed up to your own Google Drive account. We have no access to your Google Drive. The data is stored in a private folder created by the app.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

MXLedger uses RevenueCat to manage Pro subscriptions on iOS and Android. Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not store your payment information.

5. Notifications

Document expiry notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification server is involved. We do not use push notification services.

6. Camera and Photo Library

The app requests access to your camera and photo library solely to allow you to attach photos and scan QR codes within the app. Images are stored locally on your device and optionally synced to your Google Drive.

7. Analytics and Advertising

MXLedger contains no advertising and no third-party analytics. We do not track your usage behaviour.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data exists only on your device and in your Google Drive account (if sync is enabled). You can delete all app data by uninstalling the app. To remove data from Google Drive, delete the MXLedger folder from your Google Drive.

9. Children's Privacy

MXLedger is intended for professional use by aviation maintenance technicians. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
